(Porch "Before" Photo)
We are in the midst of making our New Orleans home our own that we moved into 5 weeks ago. One of the requirements we had when looking at houses was that it had a front porch. The landscaping goes in next week and when it does I really want to to finish the patio off with a few bistro chairs and little table as a complement to the porch swing.
During my search for such a set, I came across the company TK Collections which specializes in handmade French furniture. They are as durable as they are beautiful and can be customized in many colors to suit your design style. I am partial to the pastel turquoise and ivory Lutece bistro chair...
And the Parisienne...
There are many more bistro and armchairs featured on their website. They also have the St. Cloud Bench which I think is quite fantastic...

Of course you can also customize the wrought iron tables...
These are the same types of tables and chairs you will find in Paris in cafes like this.
Oh, I could get used to drinking my chicory coffee here each morning.

Here are some beautiful photos from The Bella Cottage. I love The Bella Cottage story...when looking for furniture for her own home, Michelle Aspesi could not find the high quality "shabby" pieces she desired. So, Michelle found a quality craftsman to create the look she desired out of superior materials. When she bought bedding and linens online for her home, she placed the extra ones she did not use on ebay. Soon, customers were asking more questions about the furniture the bedding was displayed on than the bedding itself. That is how Bella Cottage was born - how fantastic is that? I love their romantic cottage style. Here are my favorites...

French Larkspur

A few weeks ago I did an internet search for "French Table Settings" and found an amazing blog called French Larkspur. I think I love everything about it. Tracey, the creator, photographer, editor, designer, shopkeepper, etc. for the site seems just as nice as can be and has an incredible eye for details that are beautiful and inspirational. The attached shop with the same name, French Larkspur, offers many wonderful items and a few linen pieces that I would like to share with you.
