If a little elf came into my house tonight and replaced all of my towels with these lovely Turkish T hand loomed cotton towels, I wouldn't mind one bit. The colors choices are beautiful and the craftsmanship top notch. Plus you can use them at the beach, on your table top, as a scarf and oh yes - in the bathroom!
Here is a wonderful photo from Blue Hydrangea using the towel as a table cloth. I loved the photo and wanted to share it.
Turkish-T loves New Orleans! Might be the perfect place to send our" birds"
ReplyDeleteHello@Turkish-T needs to know where to send the birds! Thanks so much for the write-up!
So pretty! Now if only linen were a little easier to keep from wrinkling. You must have some good tips on how best to care for? Do tell!
ReplyDeleteHi Danielle,
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to do a post about taking care of linen - thanks for the idea! Friends always ask me about wrinkling and it is a valid concern when purchasing linen products. My number one tip however is to never fully dry your linen in the dryer. I always take out my linen items when they are slightly damp. Then I use a CLEAN steam iron on them to achieve a nice, crisp effect. For my sofa slipcovers, I take the slips out when the cord welt is slightly damp. Then I immediately put the slips back on and run my hands over them to smooth wrinkles. I am a very casual person so I don't steam my slips but that is an option. If you really don't like wrinkles linen is a tough fabric to own but it is so worth the trouble!
Thanks,
Heather
