I found this Nativity Set at a little stationery store in Manhattan Beach called Christie several years ago. I love the white, worn wood look and the simplicity of just having the three angels, two lambs and Baby Jesus. I have seen many others but this one remains my favorite.
Do you have one on display? My next set will be something my kids can play with hopefully. However, my 4-year-old loves taking Jesus out of this manger and rocking him and so far so good on not breaking anything!

Turquoise and Red Holiday Party Mantel
In my quest to find anything Christmas in turquoise and red, I came across an incredibly crafty blog titled Tatertots and Jello. Jen featured an inexpensive way to decorate your mantel for the holidays and I thought it was worth sharing. Although the decor is adorable, my favorite part of the room is the turquoise ladder with the advent numbers strung on it. I absolutely would love to do this next year. I love original ideas for advent calendars and this is my favorite so far.
